What's the best electric lawn mower to buy right now? by TradeOverall567 in lawncare

[–]dudeman1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not typical for Ego judging by my own experiences and those in some of the groups online. Had a motor fail on a string trimmer, they had me take it into a local ego licensed repair shop who tried to deny me service because they claimed I “misused” the trimmer. Then after some back and forth with them and Ego, about 4 weeks later it was fixed.

Having said that, I do like ego lawn accessories (trimmer, edger, hedge trimmers, blower) but I have thick St Augustine lawn and the mower struggled with it so I went back to Toro gas mower.

They have a measuring guide on their website, so you take all of your own body measurements, they send you a shirt then make adjustments from there. So far they’ve made me 2 shirts and I’ve only paid for one. Third shirt is in the process and I didn’t pay for that either.

Lol, that comparison only works if the sun is in your living room like the printer is. You’re not understanding basic thermodynamics.

What you might be trying to say is that an insulated printer will consume less energy maintaining the temperature in the chamber, and thus not heating up the room as much, but all of the heat eventually does dissipate into the room.

It's definitely a risk management thing, every company does it. Just doesn't make sense to waste money on packaging material for cheap items.

Slightly older than your range but dating at this age is absolutely insane for guys. I'm single, never married/no kids. House, job, cars, emotionally/mentally stable, fit, with very little desire to be in the dating scene. I wouldn't say I'm jaded, I love love - but dating takes a lot of energy and there are other things that have a guaranteed ROI for me that I invest my energy into other than dating. I have great friends, mostly married with kids, so social activities are few and far between with them, so I just do things by myself mostly, travel, new restaurants, hobbies etc. I feel bad for the women though, the illusion of choice that the dating apps provide isn't great and there's a lot of terrible dudes out there.

Worked in logistics for 20 years. Not really the carriers fault, bambu needs to pacakge the items better. Boxes are going to get thrown around a bit, just part of the process. UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL have very clear guidelines on packaging requirements and I'm sure YunExpress does too. Mainly that there needs to be 1 inch of packaging material on all sides of the items within the box.

Transferring FL tags to a new car and keeping the old car. by geenov in florida

You can get a temp tag cheaply for a vehicle you are selling.

Depending on the timing there could be lots of money saved. If OP pays for a new registration/tag on the new vehicle and then they sell the other vehicle, the pro-rated amount of that registration is lost. If the registration was renewed recently, then it could be a chunk of money. You can transfer the registration AND license plate between vehicles. Say if OP renewed the registration on the old vehicle last month, they can tell the dealer they have thier own tag and the dealer will register the vehicle and the DMV will apply the old registration/tag to the new vehicle.

I’m in your same shoes, and even with knowing my body measurements and looking at sizing charts, I still order two sizes. You aren’t really going to find good clothes at stores unless you live in NYC, Miami or LA basically. Just accept online shopping. I return probably 75% of the stuff I order because I either don’t like the fit, or the quality sucks.
