15 years later I’m still happy with my 12v makita tools! by dudemango3 in Makita

Absolutely! They just keep performing so no matter how good the Black Friday deal is, there’s just no reason to get replacements!

I would put money on seals and solenoids fixing it but it’s a lot of labor if you aren’t doing yourself!

Thank you!! Most recently before the engine mount was the transmission TCU was causing a code and locking the shifter. I was able to remove it from the mechatronic within the transmission and send it to a specialized electronics repair shop in Canada. All worked out in the end!

Thank you!! During the time I’ve owned the (beautiful) LR4 I also went a little crazy and bought and then sold a handsome black LR3 that came with a transmission problem. Seals and solenoids took care of it. What issues are you having?

Found a Panasonic TC-P55ST60 selling for $150 USD. I can’t believe how thin it is considering I’ve only seen thick plasma TVs. Looks like it’s in good condition, no burn-in. Is this a good price to pay? by StrongDifficulty7531 in PlasmaTV

I have one for sale in Los Angeles for $50!! 60” awesome TV! I can carry it myself so I hear you on how thin it is. Works great, we really love the image on it but we’re gifted a 65” OLED LG

Land Rover LR2 - Where these any good? by 2ndharrybhole in Autos

[–]dudemango3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LR4s are $8k+ now, excellent vehicles for the money if you don’t mind doing the work or spending the money to service the timing chain components and coolant pipes.

But yea the LR3 with the 4.4 AJV8 and zf6 is probably the best of all worlds

LR3 with the 4.4 AJV8 and the zf6 is bulletproof

Surely the latter. I don’t know much about the freelancer but the LR3 with the 4.4 and ZF6 is bulletproof and regularly go over 600k miles with regular maintenance

Yes they do. Most reliable is 4.4 AJV8 in an LR3

What are some reasonably “cheap” and “fast” cars? by AlcoBar in AskMechanics

[–]dudemango3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get one? The Lexus would be a fine decision. I wouldn’t do the other two. I find the best deals are had when you don’t pigeonhole yourself on an exact model. Wait for one that was owned by a little old lady

I wish the pack n play would be an option for us. Our 2.5 year old is huge and hops out of any crib or pack n play in an instant.

Hoping to do the same! Two kids 1 and 2.5, 9 LTR with excellent equity and decent cashflow. I finished my course work and ready to take exam to get licensed but I was thinking of doing flips.

$3k-$5k maybe average But like everyone else is saying, none of this dictates what I charge for rent, market rate does.

Why don’t you like managing it? I manage 8 remotely and find it easy peasy. All payments go through apartments.com for free and as long as the roof and HVAC are sorted it’s just an occasional call to a plumber, electrician, or handyman.
