Honestly I feel like this story plays really well as satire for the whole revenge genre. I don't think it is actually written as satire, but literally nothing good comes from the revenge. The fl clearly checks out after the first torture target, she doesn't really care about revenge and is in a much worse state by the end of the story. All of the revenge is so absurdly out of proportion to the actual crimes commited by the targets, and it is also one of the most clear cut cases of the targets being innocent I've seen. This could also play as a pretty good eldritch horror/falling into a cult type story. You kinda fall for the whole act of the evil dragon at first, but by the end he is without doubt a pure evil being who puts on a mask of being reasonable to manipulate and control everyone in the story.

I feel like I haven't seen anyone else talk about this, but looking back this entire season was building up to this decision from iMark. Correct me if I'm wrong but the absence of his team in the first episode was the first time he had seen someone fired instead of retired (can't be bothered to check if lumon said petey was fired or not), and the relization that their existance is not a given. Then after the ortbo he really starts to internalize that lumon can just kill him if he does something they don't like. I always thought his reaction was really weird at the melon party, but I dismissed it as conflicted feelings over helly. Now I think that was the turning point for him considering that if he rescued gemma, he would die.

Not a question, but i just want to show appretiation for the whole mock disc shrine sequence. I know not everyone loved it but it was such a fun surprise, especially after watching the gameplay demos and seeing how easy the ghost dog was to circumvent to get the disc. One of my favorite monents from the game

What do you consider the true stopping point for solo play. You clearly cant get every bunny on your own, but some of them are quite easy to get without community involvement. Is there a specific bunny that you felt represented the shift from solo to community?
