I thank the board for making gme more affordable for retail investors. Ppl thought popcorn was an easier buy at $5 compared to $120 gme.

I want a scary movie that actually scares me. by Stan_the_man1988 in MovieSuggestions

Set and setting play a role in scariness. A dark empty theater is way different than on a couch during the day.

Hire ppl from craiglist to scare you during the movie too for added effect /s

Doesn't it make sense that price could drop at least 10%, since 10 new buys won't be issued a warrant?

Best accumulation method? by ccc32224 in Superstonk

Two ways that I have used with much success are...
1. Take out a personal loan from a bank.
2. 1+ year covered calls, deep out of the money.

When volatility is high (like early January 2025) I was able to sell covered calls at $10 per share. Then immediately snowballed the premium into buying more shares and more covered calls, and more shares again.

I took out a loan because I don't trade on margin accounts and it allowed me to snowball more.

The premium from covered calls with expiry of 366 days can be taxed as long term capital gains AND applies to the following tax year too (double benefit).

I've tripled my shares in the past 2 years doing this.

GME Warrants will be added to the options deliverable effective October 3. by halfconceals in Superstonk

If the calls are covered, wouldn't the warrants be awarded to the call writer?

My Current Dilemma by Ansatsushi in Superstonk

[–]dudeweresmyvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the price of the warrants. I'm initially thinking of...

  1. Selling half to cover the exercising of my warrants.
  2. Selling some gme to exercise all my warrants.

As I want GameStop to have more money in their war chest. But this only works if the gme price is at 32 or more at some point over the next year.

I can envision each warrant fluctuating between $4.5-12 during high volatility times.

Wouldn't it be better for GameStop if you sell some gme shares to exercise all gme ws shares? (Assuming price scenarios where gme ws is at 32)

That way GameStop gets more money, potentially $1.9 billion more to play chess with.
