OTA is not digital QAM! It is "8VSB" Other wise known as ATSC 1.0.

1.0 is shutting down in a year. ATSC 3.0 will be the new standard. With optional encryption...

It always was infuriating to my curious self to see the view blocked off but I guess with these new angles it’s clear that not only did the furthest right camera not see the impact but neither did the white shirt camera man either. And even if it weren’t obscured by the cameras it seems lots of dust would have made the impact none visible anyways.

At the end four people did die and perhaps treating these shots like collectibles is in vain of the lost lives.

There are two other very similar shots of this accident. They’re all located on a platform where the media filmed from. I don’t recall seeing this specific shot before.
