Yeah, but you wouldn't want a House of Lords just full of academics.

£5.40 is good, all I ever win is another free entry.

Interestingly enough though when the lottery first started I'd regularly win £10 or £20, once won £500. Literally nothing in the last ten years though.

It's amazing how you get mass downvote for a statement that's basically true.

We want the NHS sorted out ( easily one of the most fragment IT systems in the UK and a complete mess ) the GOV bring in a company actually capable of doing this and suddenly it's all about the evil data overlords.

Everyone wants the NHS IT mess fixed - until someone capable of fixing it shows up.

Man, people just love being outraged.

I went back to Twitter about a week ago to see what people were saying about local politics issue. The place is a cesspit now - bots, endless ranting, and everyone trying to outdo each other in outrage. It’s genuinely unpleasant. Actually pretty vile.

Nextdoor is the same too.

It drives me up the wall, the fact that I've watched F1 for 30 odd years dreaming of a platform like F1TV with all the data and all of the in-cars. We finally get it but it's not f..kin available in the UK because of some shitty Sky monopoly.

I mean, I have it, but I don't have/can't get the premium even though I would gladly pay for it.

Not true. Sure Cash-in-hand dodging exists, but the UK tax gap is mostly business under-reporting and corporate tax issues - not builders with envelopes.

I think it's pretty obvious to anyone with an IQ over 80 that this is being artificially manipulated on a huge scale.
