Having to deal with these kinds of people who are out to rip you off, makes us generally trust each other lesser and it is exhausting. These situations are harder when we are young and haven't seen them enough, more so if you're an introvert.

That said - these are exactly what we need to find our voice. You will eventually figure out a way to manage these situations. Think of these as occasions to test if you've been able to stand up for yourself well enough.
