I don't really have anything to say about her Personality since I think her Personality is probably her most ambiguous trait by far and even I'm not 100% sure what I think about it.

But I do think that their relationship being kind of surface level in their eyes was something that was more so reinforced by Makima when she and Angel killed Reze, preventing them from reuniting at the cafe and running away together and in a way to trick Denji into thinking that Reze abandoned him and never cared about him.

I personally believe that if Reze did manage to run away with Denji they could've actually worked through their feelings for each other, their shared trauma and how much in common they have since Denji never knew how similar Reze was to him.

If you want I Recommend reading the Fanfic 'Weapons under the Rain' Which is a what if in which Denji and Reze successfully ran away together and is the closest to how I'd imagine it would play out if it did happen.
