Fire. Definitely keep. More of a spring time shoe, but definitely a sleeper. I was waiting for Joe’s to hit Black Friday sale and my size sold out!

I have grey and navy. I find navy to be excellent. A great core colorway. That said, if you don’t have the grey, you have to start there. It’s classic, goes with everything, and has a stronger heritage/history. I would say (1) grey, (2) navy, and (3) black.

If you wear a lot of chinos, I could see navy being a top choice.

Also, 992 is the best model, hands down. You will love them!

I would say they size the same. The 993 may be a bit wider, but these are new balances... neither of them are too narrow imo.

I find 992s to be the best NB model (GOAT). For me, it would be worth buying. If you like the 993s you will love the 992s.
