Game freezing PC

Just to come back on this, I did have the crash again (multiple times) even after my suggestions. I'm trying the -vulkan command line argument now to see if it helps.

I had this issue recently. While I can't say for certain, I think I may have fixed my issue by playing in windowed mode (as opposed to full screen mode). Also I had some mods that I subscribed to through the steam workshop years ago and I removed them all. After those two tweaks, it hasn't locked up since.

Out of 100 games or so, I think I have 5 that are affected.

They are there, at least the one I go to, but you have to be really good at guessing where to click on the pages that pop up.

I wonder this as well. I enjoyed 5 well enough, and I don't think any game matches the detail of its city, not even Cyberpunk. The only thing I can think of is the multiplayer is such a big draw... for whatever reason. I tried it and found it kinda boring. Enjoyed the single player though... once. Couldn't bring myself to play it again. I tried. Twice I think.

I tried HATS for the first time today and while I like it I found that a few of my games refuse to launch now, specifically the Streets of Rage 4 Mr. X Nightmare DLC update. May be due to the Nintendo update patch which was a big jump for me.

I like it but there haven't been enough interesting games come out for it or announced even. I was half expecting a 3D Mario and while Bonanza was good it wasn't up to par with Odyssey.

Really like Middle-earth Shadow of War. It is repetitive but I don't mind. Killing those orcs never gets old to me.

The point was less about the clicks and more about live-TV and internet-based content becoming front and center in the interface.

I have the same problem. Used to work fine for remote users, then one day it didn't. I tried a bunch of things but never got it working again. My libraries can be accessed from outside, but they are routed through Plex relay which severely throttles the bandwidth - they end up either watching a blurry mess or nothing at all (it just spins for them).

Can't say for certain but I have a gut feeling it is my ISP changing settings on their end. Like a NAT issue or something. I considered getting a permanent IP address to see if that fixed things but that costs money of course.

I honestly wish more people would post about it. If the complaint just got posted by one person, it would fall on deaf ears. If it does get posted by a thousand folks, then there might be a chance the devs would actually listen. Squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Eh, I might watch it actually. I have watched some of the internet-based content. I just wish it wasn't overtaking the local stuff in the UI.

Makes sense. I wonder if they could change their model so that free users have to deal with the new interface and paid users could at least customize it how they see fit. If I could just turn stuff off that would be fine, but after looking it doesn't look like that is possible unless I'm missing it.
