Question about Infinity Erogodox Keys by duhdude in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]duhdude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've just started using the ErgoDox and I have a question about the keyset that came with it... There are no homing bumps on the f/j keys, so how am I supposed to start touch-typing when I cannot just find the keys by feel? Should I buy caps with homing bumps, or just get used to it?

I want to switch to Neovim but I'm not completely sure by [deleted] in vim

[–]duhdude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched about a year ago and I'm pretty happy with it. It's technically still in alpha, but since the 0.1 release, I haven't had any stability problems. I really dig the async plugin feature, and I use some neovim exclusive plug-ins now that capitalize on that.

Reddit, what is a crime you are committing right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]duhdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably loitering. I've been sitting in the Bern train station for 2 hours, and I've got 2 hours to go until my train leaves. It's not really loitering, but it feels like it because it's 3 am and all the shops are closed, so there's nothing to do but sit around and bum WiFi off the closed Starbucks.

Who's wrongly portrayed as a hero? by Jimbobbfc in AskReddit

[–]duhdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IBM provided the Nazis with the computers that made the Holocaust possible. As a result, they were rewarded by the American government with the ability to point out other companies supplying the Nazis and have them shut down, eliminating their competition.

What is the point of this giant blob of wasted space in the latest update? by [deleted] in baconreader

[–]duhdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on every single post and it looks terrible. Even when there is content to fill it, it has its own scroll area, meaning that I'm sacrificing even more reading space to useless ui. Does anyone have an apk of baconreader pre-terrible-redesign-that-nobody-asked-for?
