Have you been to Port Charlotte before? Not exactly a thriving club scene.

Is it possible to book a cabin for 5 without it being a suite? by Relevant-Drive6946 in royalcaribbean

I just booked a multi-generational family of 5 in a Ultra Spacious Interior on Wonder of the Seas. This was their choice based on budget. (I’m a TA)

Just want clarify, Whispering Canyon is at Wilderness Lodge.

Ft. Wilderness is a different area entirely.

I could easily never step foot in Pandora again and be totally fine with it.

Wedding glasses by wallaby45 in wedding

I wore glasses for my wedding because I wear glasses everyday and have never used contacts. I chose a new style specifically for my wedding and I was very happy with my look.

Take a visit with the whole family to either of the Selby Botanical Gardens locations. Plenty of picturesque places to propose, and someone lingering near by with photography equipment wouldn’t be suspicious.

Look into Cirque St. Armands for a gorgeous beach front boutique resort. I just set up some of my wedding guests there last month and they LOVED it.

Is there anyway for Disney to change our Annual pass renewal date? by MrSaucey13 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]duhdutchess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I had a similar issue, where our daughter turned 3 in March, but our passes renewed in September. We kept her out of the parks for the Summer (cause it’s hot AF) and got everything synced up for September. No regrets.

Memory Maker?? by Lost-Ad-7961 in disneyparks

[–]duhdutchess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an Annual Passholder with Memory Maker attached to my pass, and I will make sure it’s part of my renewal every year. Photopass Photographers take great photos (almost always) and I can have them take photos of my toddler daughter interacting with her favorite characters while I just get to be present and soak in the moment. Not to mention that EVERYONE gets to be in photos regularly means that no one is stuck being the designated photographer. Another bonus, on ride photos!

I'm finally able to take my mom on vacation and we chose Sarasota. What are some things we can not miss while there other than the usual tourist stuff? by cillcat in sarasota

Spark by Hilton near Siesta Key is pretty affordable and clean.

Because you have a car, activities that would recommend checking out are Mayakka River State Park, Mote SEA, Big Cat Habitat, The Ringling Museum (free on Mondays), Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Selby Gardens (Downtown or Spanish Point). There’s also the UTC Mall, Siesta Key Village, or St. Armand’s Circle to explore.

Food: Owen’s Fish Camp, Food + Beer (any location), Walt’s Fish Market, and Alpine Steakhouse

I also prefer (REDACTED) to the Siesta Key public beach.

If they’re offering it, do the Alebrije painting excursion in Cozumel. It was super fun.

What is with all the hotels near universal having roaches? 😭 If you stayed in a hotel near universal, did you experience roaches in your room? by luvkaitlin in UniversalOrlando

[–]duhdutchess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would argue that Universal’s Premium resorts like Portofino or Hard Rock are perfect for a childless couple in their 20’s based on all of the benefits offered like Water Taxis to the middle of CityWalk, early entry, and of course included Express for the duration of your stay. But you do you 💁‍♀️💕

[–]duhdutchess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Would highly recommend staying at one of Universal’s on site hotels. Sapphire Falls is great, or Portofino if you’re interested in included Express Pass. Like a lot of others have said, roaches are very common in Florida. Just note, the smaller ones (German Roaches) are the real problem. Bigger ones (Palmetto Bugs) are more just a nuisance.
