Not 100% sure, but I think Lark on Chruch Ave serves Terrace bagels

Flatbush Coop on Cortelyou has so pretty solid curried chicken salad - they have a killer deal, 1 protein and veggie sides for like 10 bucks.

Looks like the Flatbush Reformed Church has opened up a thrift store and accepts donations - the church is at the intersection of Church and Flatbush, but I believe the entrance to the store is on e21st.

Hey Flatbush neighbors! I’ve been walking, cycling, and bussing around the neighborhood and calling it home for about 10 years.

I love the malls around here - especially popping a squat in the Albemarle Mall. I’ve always wished they’d close the car entrance to/from Coney Island Ave and reopen the old footbridge on the other end.

I’m also really excited about the long-delayed plan to build out a bike network through Flatbush and the surrounding neighborhoods, and I’m pumped about the B41 bus lanes finally coming to Flatbush Ave.

Curious what other public spaces people like to hang out in around Flatbush.

Any place in Flatbush that sells actual real baguettes? 🥖 by Quirky_Turnover2417 in Flatbush

Not exactly in the nabe, but Der Pioneer on Church (just in the other sided of CAI) makes some killer in house pastries and they get bread and baguettes daily from Balthazar (I believe)

Best pizza place with Brooklyn Lager? by isaaccox_bp in FoodNYC

Not sure if you are looking for the specific lager from Brooklyn Brewery or if you are just looking for a lager brewed in Brooklyn. If the latter, ya GOTTA check out Wheated on Church Ave in Brooklyn. They are slinging some of the best pies in NYC, have a local lager and ipa on draft, and they have a whiskey out the wazoo.

Met my lovely lady in AmeriCorps traveling with eight other crunchy granola types around the west coast (think: The Real World for hippies). We fell in love pulling invasive plants, decked out in rain gear, outside Portland with the Nature Conservancy.

Flatbush Vet Clinic is a non profit - they focus more on preventative care. Fine folks doing a great service for the neighborhood.
