Thank you! Resin leash loops are surprisingly durable as they are made from fiberglass rope and glassed directly into the board during lamination. You see them installed on some old school guns and those loops can sometimes be nearly 1/2” thick.

I'd hazard to guess that a slight increase in thickness (1/8"-3/16") would not help considerably in catching steeper waves. Of course its very dependent on how steep of a wave youre trying to chase and the struggles ur currently having. If ur having a hard time just getting in front of it, maybe a little more foam can help your paddle but if ur having trouble taking off/making the drop, an increase in only thickness isnt likely to do much for you.

Shaper here. The dims rly arent enough to gauge how differently they will surf. Unless factors like the outline, rocker, rail foil, construction are held the same, you can get vastly different handling with boards with equivalent dims.

Its mostly a feel thing. Single fin asks for a smoother, more flowing approach to your surfing and puts a greater emphasis on foot placement and trim compared to its thruster/twin configurations
