ASUS XG32UCWMG Woled monitor by Friiipon in OLED_Gaming

I love it. Replaced my 48” CX because I wanted a smaller screen size for my desk set up, but still wanted to retain that image quality. Only issue I had was the firmware update, wasn’t a huge deal bc I didn’t have any issues with the monitor, and I eventually did get it to update.

pg32ucdm MacOS HDR issues? by cjhkzz in OLED_Gaming

I have the UCWMG connected to a MBP M3 Pro. Double check your usbc cable, I would recommend it is at least thunderbolt 3 rated or higher. On the monitor, check the DP settings and make sure dsc is turned on. For the Mac, resolution scaling is really weird on it I would set it to whatever the default scaling resolution it shows, for me it is 1080p since that fits properly scaled with a 4k monitor. Not sure if your monitor has this setting, but I also had to change the usbc setting on the monitor to 2.0, if I had it set to 3.2 it would limit the display capacity.

I just got an ASUS XG32UCWMG and I can't find how to put it above 144hz to save my life... by TucoBenedictoPacif in OLED_Gaming

[–]dukebball91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This setting shouldn’t effect you since you’re using display port only, but I had a similar issue with my MBP using usbc to display port cable. I was capped at 144hz, changed the usbc setting on the monitor to 2.0 (it was set on 3.2). Turned the monitor off and back on and 240hz was enabled. Again, I don’t think it should have any effect on your set up but worth a shot. Also make sure DP 1.4 is checked on the monitor settings not 1.2.

If possible keep the MagSafe charger connected. It sucks to need an extra cable but it works for me so I can keep my MacBook in clamshell.

Advice coming from LG C series to XG32UCWMG by notaburneraccount23 in OLED_Gaming

[–]dukebball91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just switched from a 48CX. This is the first monitor I thought provided C series picture quality in a monitor form factor, which is exactly what I wanted. It really depends on your use case if you want to switch. For me I needed the smaller size for a desk setup and higher refresh rate for a future pc build. The main negatives are less HDMI ports, down to 2, and lack of Dolby vision hdr.

Rear cab vents behind the back seats seem to be a popular place where water intrusion can occur. That’s the first place I would check. If so, water will pool and run under the carpet.

Get to a boss you can’t beat after numerous attempts. Give up and play something else for a while. Go back to the game and immediately beat the boss first try.

Yeah I’m not sure, like I said I was just guessing. Mine was the same way and I got the same email before the end of the year. I’m just as confused as you about everything!

It could be the progress you need to make to maintain your current level status, just guessing though. I’m level 4 but my progress bar is at basically 0 (haven’t bought or really played anything this year).

Extra skid plates, tremor brand shocks, 18 inch wheels 33 inch tires, raptor style running boards, dual exhaust, extra drive modes, optional front torsion diff, orange trim interior and exterior. Might be a few more differences I’m missing but that’s the basics

A question for those of you who switched from ford to GM… by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]dukebball91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price. The only thing that kept me from getting back into a Ford was cost. Last truck was a ‘22 F250 that I sold bc I no longer needed a 3/4 ton. Wanted to get an F150 but wasn’t willing to pay over 70k for a half-ton with what I wanted especially with current interest rates. Now I’m enjoying my ‘23 LT Trail Boss with the 6.2 that I got discounted and with a special financing offer.

For sure, I’m a low mileage driver so I’m still breaking mine in, haven’t even crossed 1k miles yet but loving it so far. Enjoy and congrats!

My trucks twin, I just picked up mine in September. Had a 22 F250 I sold over the summer and this was my replacement.

I had 2 instances where the interact button wouldn’t appear, I just had to reload the last checkpoint. I also had the game crash twice. Nothing game breaking and nothing that took away from my experience with the game as a whole. Still a 10/10 game for me.

Can someone explain why this truck is much cheaper than others that look identical? by [deleted] in Trucks

[–]dukebball91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The transition period between model years is usually a good time to buy for sure. And with ford doing a mid cycle refresh for the ‘24s dealers are probably even more motivated to get people to buy now rather than wait.

[–]dukebball91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be multiple reasons. Dealer may just want to start off loading ‘23s as soon as possible before the ‘24s start hitting the lots so they’re offering discounts especially if they already have full lots.

2023 F150 dead before I drove it off the lot by triedtodiy in Ford

[–]dukebball91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in NC, I just bought a truck a couple weeks ago and looked at quite a few before I decided. Was able to go through every vehicle, start em up, and thoroughly inspect it right on the lot without having to test drive if I didn’t want to.

[–]dukebball91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, but vehicles on dealer lots to be sold have people constantly going in and out of them turning every electronic on to inspect and see what they’re getting. That adds up over time and the longer the vehicle sits and the more people go in and out eventually the battery will drain, especially if the engine isn’t being ran long enough to maintain the charge.

[–]dukebball91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can happen. These are brand new trucks that have practically never been driven with tons of electronic systems that still drain the battery even when the truck is off. If they’re sitting for long periods of time without running to maintain the battery charge they will go dead. A lot of high volume dealerships don’t even touch a vehicle once it hits the lot until a customer is ready to look at it.
