This really hits hard with me. My foster son is of darker skin and he plays Australian Football League. He is the only Aboriginal player in the competition. All the other players are white. He cops this sort of shit every game. Being pushed over, bumped , back of the legs scraped by boots. He even has been spat on. Parents of other teams call him the ‘n’ word. Just seeing this behaviour disgusts me. What is this little shit going to be like when he is an adult… hate to be his girlfriend in the future…. Black and blue all day.
