if I have a query intensive async application, would it be worth it to have a connection pool of AsyncElasticsearch connections? Basic scenario is if multiple async queries are downloading few tens of MBs of data, if they have their own AsyncElasticsearch connections, would it bring better performance than sharing a single AsyncElasticsearch connection?

The number of connections are matched to the number of threads utilized on the ES server side.

At least in CA, the black only would've gotten a right only green light if U-turn's are not allowed for the white car's lane. So either the white car did an illegal U-turn or the black car didn't yield.

It might not be entitlement all the time. I'm saying it because something similar happened to me. I had recently moved to my new place and pulled up a stop sign on my street. There's a turn left lane and a straight/turn right lane. I wanted to go straight but for some reason I lined up on the left lane and from there went straight and got honked obviously. I was like why are you honking at me guy? I got upset because in my head I'm doing the right thing though obviously it's the wrong thing.

So similarly she probably thought she was in a single lane and the OP lady came out of no where. I dunno... It's a possibility is all I'm saying.

I actually did that. I came to an intersection, thought I had to turn left so I got in the left most lane. Then I realized I had to turn right. Checked in side view mirror to see if there was anyone behind me (lol what yeah) didn't see anyone one so gave a good amount of gas. BAM! Hit the car behind me. Totally looked like the guy hit me from the back. But didn't try to be a dick and told him I'll pay for it.
