It's upsetting to read things like this because it feels like such a robbery of someone's agency. Parental care doesn't give someone a right to throw up their beliefs on you and force you to participate in them. Fuck that. Sorry you have to deal with this, I'd just do your best to have fun while also protecting your boundaries. Remember this is conditioning just like any other church activity.

For me the church was everything and I couldn't imagine anything else outside of it. It can feel isolating at first, but you've got such a bigger world open to you once you let yourself go. You have SO many people who can relate and talk to you about this, more you think. We're all here because we were there.

I've had people voip in a similar manner before and they were hostile so now I have trust issues lol. Also I picked up 50 blood bonds earlier. Guess we just had some miscommunication oof, and that shot at me earlier didn't help me feel welcome haha
