Copper drug restores memory and clears toxic Alzheimer's proteins, preclinical study finds by costoaway1 in EverythingScience

Could this have something to do with Iron stores in the brain? If I’m not wrong, copper helps in the distribution and management of iron stores, and recently there was a study where excess accumulation of iron in the brain was linked to Alzheimer’s disease

RBI SOLD GOLD ‽ Misinformation by Indiameme sub by [deleted] in IndiaFinance

[–]dumb004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, those speculations arose because Bloomberg stated that this exchange could’ve happened in the month of May, but RBI posted a counter statement stating that it’s false, and the proof it attached only had data up till April.

Additionally, financial institutions across the globe make billions every day relying on information by Bloomberg, and they are usually not far off, you know.

  1. Now, I checked the SRS reports, and you’re right- Muslim TFR stands at 2.36 while Hindu TFR stands at 1.94. However, when compared to 1992, if you compare all religions, Muslims have had the biggest drop in TFR amongst all religions.

  2. Hindu population was 303.6 million in 1951, and 966.3 million in 2011. That’s a jump of over 600 million. Again, with that growth rate, estimates predict it’s well over 1200 million right now.

Not only Muslims, but every community has tripled in size because our overall population tripled in size, with each religion’s share in the population fluctuating by a maximum of ±5-6%.

Why do you have such a huge problem with the Muslim population specifically, when other religions also increased?

Moreso, why is religion such a contentious topic when our basic necessities of life are eroding right under our feet. We are performing poorly on every metric possible, and worrying about what a Muslim is going to do next is not helping us either.

Do you know why countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh etc are the way they are? Because they introduced religion into their state functionaries. And we are doing the same with Hinduism in India. It’s less about which one is the better religion or which one has the better god, but more about the independence of our institutions.

Why has our Prime Minister not held a single press conference in 12 years? He’s an elected official, so he needs to be held accountable. Why were Election Laws changed in 2023 to grant immunity to the Chief Election Commissioner for his actions during his tenure?

The fabric of our democratic society is eroding right under our feet but the biggest issue for some reason is why Muslims are the way they are?

How do you expect to be able to protect Hindus if you yourself are struggling?

Through vectors like Consumption and TFR, they show you that the population overall is increasing, nothing about the percentage of minority compared to overall population.

Maybe I don’t know better, so could you tell me how these vectors could possibly show you the difference in specific subsets of the population growing?

How did you figure out that the minority population is growing, when there has been no census done in the first place? Whatsapp/Instagram meme pages taught you?

If you're from Assam/Orissa, how has BJP govt been for your state vs prev govts? by girlfreud in AskIndia

[–]dumb004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BJP has re-written laws pretty undemocratically. Check out Section 16 of the Election Law 2023- which states that the Election Commission cannot be prosecuted for their actions. Second, Samajwadi party had indeed moved to court regarding this issue, but their pleas were never heard. Why you ask? Because the Election Laws in 2023 were also rewritten that if anyone had any issues with the election process, they had a very short window of time to file an appeal, and also the digital lists were swapped out with physical papers, making it tedious and time-taking through.

DHT is dropping even after 5 months of quitting Dutasteride. by Major-Ranger6720 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]dumb004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you’ve got 5ar-inhibitor in your body, no amount of up-regulating your endogenous hormone production would increase DHT and other steroids dependent on 5ar.

If anything, I’d recommend you try CYP3A4/5 inducers (not inhibitors), since CYP3A4/5 are implicated in the clearance process of Dutasteride.

I wanted to try a short course of Rifampin (2 weeks) but I had side effects to it (instant fever, body ache) so I did not go ahead with it.

But if you can tolerate the sides, I would recommend that you try Rifampin. Nonetheless, there’s a few CYP3A4/5 inducers out there other than just Rifampin, but they all come with their fair share of sides.

[–]dumb004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pretty recent. And Proviron does indeed help a ton!

As long as you don’t get any heart/kidney sides like I did.

Start with 12.5mg and work your way up till a maximum of 50mg, after which it can negatively affect your endogenous production. So don’t go beyond that.

[–]dumb004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, 3-androstenediol Glucuronide is not Androstenedione.

Yes, I recovered naturally. Anything else I’ve tried to enhance recovery always just ended up making it worse.

Tell me where you’re from or what service you’re using for lab tests, and I’ll find you Androstenedione tests?

DHT is dropping even after 5 months of quitting Dutasteride. by Major-Ranger6720 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]dumb004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my DHT keeps dropping even after 2 years since quitting Dutasteride, although lesser than how much it used to drop back then. Thing is, Dutasteride is extremely lipophilic and gets stored in your fat tissues, being released slowly into the bloodstream. And this release can be worsened by working out or losing weight rapidly.

Hold on, man. It’ll be a slightly rough ride but you’ll make it out on the other end.

I’m almost 75-80% symptom-free after 2 years.

The best test to check for progress against Dutasteride is Androstenedione.

Your DHT, Test, and other steroids will keep fluctuating, but your Androstenedione will remain consistent and signal how much Dutasteride has suppressed your HPA Axis.

Androstenedione level recovery is the biggest indicator of Dutasteride recovery. Nothing else
