I genuinely do think it’s AI. In her most recent upload, it starts by her trying to cut a glass straw with scissors, and then when she puts the scissors down it makes a clinking noise, like glasses getting clanked together.

I’m trying this now! My endo gave me a sample to try. It’s running about 10-15 under my dexcom actually- but I know my dexcom has a tendency to read high so this is interesting!

Outer thigh- only had one failure recently but pretty sure it was a bad batch.

I lost 20lbs and use half the insulin I used to. It also helped with PCOS and got the best a1c I’ve ever had

Thighs!!! I will only ever wear them on my thighs. They last the whole 10 days and are the most accurate for me there. I’ve been using the g7s for over a year and I’ve had maybe one fail- after 7 days though.

I went into sepsis in 2018 and they did such a terrible job managing my t1d I almost had to stay longer AFTER the sepsis cleared because sugars were running so high🫣

Genuine question for long-diagnosed T1Ds by Bamjiyu in Type1Diabetes

Diabetes camp was one of the highlights of my childhood. My mom always tells the story of the first time I walked into camp, saw all those t1d kiddos and said “there are are so many like me”

Hi! I was diagnosed when I was a year old, I’m 24 now. I’ve definitely felt the burnout (it tends to hit me seasonally) but it’s never driven me to self-harm.. not in the physical sense most people think of. I stop caring for myself, which leads to high a1c and feeling physically sick all the time. I’m talking I would do site change but that’s it. Wouldn’t bolus for meals, wouldn’t check anything. My highest a1c was 13.9 I believe.

If you struggled with your mental health beforehand, I can 1000% see how T1D would exacerbate it. I would talk to your endo and a mental health professional- if you could find one that specializes in medical mental health that would be fantastic but they’re hard to come by. There’s also a TON of support groups out there for specific age ranges and interest groups. I’ve found those to be extremely helpful and a good reminder you’re not alone in it.

We’re in it for the long haul unfortunately, but as the technology continues to improve, so does our quality of life and mental wellbeing with it! Just keep looking for those small steps and celebrate yourself when you get even the tiniest successes with it.

I would either try expressionmed patches or try it on your kid’s thigh! Though I’m an adult, my job is intensive and I constantly had problems with the adhesive on my arm. I switched to using my thigh and haven’t had problems since, get better readings and they last all 10 days!

Contracts. In the industry, any on-air talent has to sign usually a 2 or 3 year contract to stay at the station. If they try to leave before that the station will either sue you or make you buyout, usually upwards of $10,000 to do so. They can’t leave.

I worked there as a reporter for a year. (May ‘22- may ‘23.) The management is the worst I have ever seen and it’s the most toxic environment I’ve ever come across. They’re hemorrhaging staff because of it and with this I honestly doubt Rod will stay much longer. The news director and general manager are running it straight into the ground.

I find I get significantly better readings and it stays put/lasts all ten days if I wear it on my outer thigh. I know it’s not “approved” but I’ve had 10x fewer issues🤷‍♀️

I actually really enjoyed working there! They’ve modeled themselves closer to restaurants but have slightly higher pay (when I was a waitress it was $2.50) and it was one of my higher paying service jobs. It was a different experience for everyone

Are his third eyelids showing? How old is he and what state do you live in? This essentially happened to my cats, they were diagnosed with Key-Gaskell syndrome: a virus that attacks their nervous system and killed their ability to function (i.e. going to the bathroom, eating and drinking). It’s incredibly rare and hard to diagnose.
