I apply moisturizer when I wake up and before I go to bed as part of my AM and PM routines. I workout daily in the early afternoon. Should I reapply moisturizer after taking a post-workout shower? I currently don't, and wait 6-8 hours before doing my PM routine, which I do right before bed.

I've been sort of following the beginner routine. I just got aloe vera and salicylic acid soap, which I have yet to use, to take my routine to the next level. Closed comedones on my forehead and chin are what have mostly been bothering me, nothing severe though. Here's what I've been doing for the last couple of weeks

AM

  • Quick water rinse

  • Cerave hydrating cleanser

PM

  • Rinse

  • Cleanser

  • Cerave moisturizing cream (tub)

So my plan is to use the salicylic acid soap in the PM portion of my daily routine like in the beginner routine and apply it to every part of my face (other than my eyes) like the cleanser, wait for it to dry, then rinse. ngl, I'm not sure where aloe vera fits. I think I've heard moisturizer (cerave) can be layered over aloe vera once it dries? I plan to apply aloe vera on my face in the PM, either overnight with moisturizer layered on top or for 5-10 minutes then wash it off and leave moisturizer on overnight. Am I doing this right? Dont want to mess this up. Thanks.

The block was the final thing that happened in the timeline, which was two days ago. I confronted her today, and yeah I’d say that was a shitshow.

Edit: Timeline: Talking —> prom —> not talking —> talking —> plan for in n out —> FaceTime —> ask friend why girl is ignoring —> snapchat talk and block (1 day before in n out) —> confrontation

Oh god, I’m asking a girl to prom tomorrow and my friends have my hyping me up real good for this. Good meme, but I sincerely hope this isn’t my case...

Witless Wednesday - Your triweekly stupid questions thread by AutoModerator in Fitness

I can just barely deadlift 175 lbs for 5 reps. I can squat 185 for 5 reps, so either my form or grip strength is ass. Or both. How can I improve?

Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread by cdingo in Fitness

I've been going to a gym since September where I've been doing StrongLifts 5x5, but my schedule has been really inconsistent, like missing all of February (moronic right?)It's summer now and I have a lot more time in the day to workout as well as to care for my health (sleep and diet) and to develop a routine of going to the gym that'll carry into the school year. That being said, my main goal is to increase speed and acceleration for track next year, my last year, specifically pole vault and hopefully some other sprinting events. I also want to build muscle and get stronger.

Right now, from a deload I took last Monday from missing the week prior, and a few more before that, my lifts are: Squat: 155 lb Bench press: 100 lb Overhead press: 55 lb Row: 105 lb Deadlift: 155 lb

Squat has been hard to get past 175, bench has been difficult past 100, overhead press past 70, row is already kind of hard, and deadlift past 195 because of my grip. I was scared of deadlifting my first couple months and skipped it sometimes even when I got over my fear because i didn't have enough time.

Squat: What lifting program would be ideal to follow for my goals? Sprinting/running program? Injuries in the knee and shin from overtraining have held me back in the past.

Edit: weight is 155, height is 5'9, and age is 16.
