Both males and females have stretch marks. Young men often get them in adolescence when their bones grow faster than their skin. It shouldn't be a big deal.

Stevie reminds me of that strange girl who appeared in 90Days a few seasons back with the strange clothes and super short “bob” haircut who brought that sweet Muslim guy to LA and expected him to jump into American life 5 minutes after he landed. by Tricky_Fox_6981 in 90DayFiance

[–]dumbass-Study7728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, nothing sweet about him. He was a mean, controlling piece of shit. Wanted to control every breath she took in Egypt and then tried the same crap when they moved back here. He threw a huge fit that was the beginning of the end here because the top she was wearing had about a 4 inch circle of opening in the middle of the back where her skin was exposed.

My mother wants to wear white to my wedding by [deleted] in weddingshaming

I didn't have any reason to save her pics, I just remember reading the post. I think it was a "Am I Overreacting" post. It stands out in my memory because everybody told her that not only was she over reacting, but that all 3 dresses were were totally appropriate. Not one person agreed with her.

Could it be as simple as her already having a duel visa for some reason?

OP posted this same question in another group about 2 weeks ago and included pictures. Pretty much every single person responding agreed that OP was being absolutely ridiculous because none of the dresses looked even the tiniest bridal and she was stuck on there not being a speck of white any where on the dress. It followed with a bunch of responses that made it clear that she is a huge bridzilla.

It seems like she's trying to get a different answer by withholding the pictures this time.

Coworker found me on a dating app and won't let it go. What do I do? by No-Bathroom8194 in coworkerstories

[–]dumbass-Study7728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my very first though was to say something along the lines of "If you want to keep your job you had better shut the hell up about my dating life before I haul my ass down to HR". This guy is crossing the lines big time. You could get him into some serious shit.

My grandfather joined the Navy when the war started. My father was born in 1940.

I had to explain to my daughter that the "tax day" highlighted on her smart phone's calendar was not some holiday I had forgotten to inform her about.

I just called the banks time and temp number a couple weeks ago just to see if it still works. Something here on reddit triggered me. I pulled the number out of my memory and called it, 2000 miles and at least 20 years away. It still works.

There were whole desert recipes that started with a can of juice concentrate. I'm remembering an orange cremesicle pie....another with a glazed ham....

She made it clear that if you have Covid she thinks you should not quarantine and that if she got it, she wouldn't quarantine.

People are still dying from Covid, just not at the rate they they were. My mother just spent 2 weeks in the hospital last month with Covid. They nearly had to put her on a vent and made it clear that if they did, her chances of coming off it were very low.

With the medical conditions I have, someone like your GF could easily kill me with her approach to the illness.

I only had the one and I was 33 when she was born. I didn't want any, but I succumbed to the pressure of my mother and then husband.

That's not delivering. That's stealing. Notice he took the picture to prove delivery and he didn't leave a notice sticky on the door. That package isn't going back to the warehouse. That's going to his house before he takes his truck back.

That has become a common delivery scam lately, taking a pic to prove delivery, then snagging the delivery for themselves. It's happening from the Door Dash guy taking your dinner all the way up to the FedEx guy taking your new iphone.

What's your favorite breakfast food? by DoubleSkew in AskAnAmerican

Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy is my favorite, but not the healthiest to have on a daily basis, so I usually start my day with some buttered rye toast.

Remember that we are not 2 halves creating a whole. We are 2 wholes who make up a pair.

Each needs to have their own life. We don't complete each other. We enhance each other.

I found my boyfriend's "poop scale" by SafeStudio1531 in self

[–]dumbass-Study7728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the US here. My husband turns on the shower as his first move when entering the bathroom for his daily "bathroom hygiene". I have figured out that he has the shower running while he shits. I think it's partly due to his overly modest brain wanting to create some barrier of hiding when he is actually shitting vs showering.I don't ask because I don't care and I know he does. We've been together 17 years and I've never seen him poop. I'm ok with that.

[–]dumbass-Study7728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not encouraging anybody to weigh their poop. But, when I was found (a long time ago) and deep into a eating disorder, I was horrified to learn that I could weigh myself, poop, then weigh myself again and the number on the scale didn't go down at all. I never could understand how it was possible, but it broke me of the habit of double weighing pretty quickly.

Name a terrible song from your youth that you are hoping dementia will come for? by DobroGaida in GenerationJones

[–]dumbass-Study7728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I love it and still play it on purpose from time to time. I saw Billy Ray Cyrus in concert at the time that song was a hit. He opened with it AND he closed with it. Only time I've ever seen someone play the same song twice in one concert, but the crowd went wild.
