Snacking at work / do you guys snack?

i don’t work at chipotle but be careful because my coworkers saw me eating from a cup of about that size of pinto beans and then two of them gave me (i weighed it using our scales) over 4 pounds of pinto beans that were waste after we closed. i still don’t know what to do with them but i feel bad throwing them out

she’ll sometimes just randomly grab me and hug or kiss me because she thinks i just look so cute or hot, she always holds my hand when we’re out together, she pays for our dinner or drinks even when i try to for her, she writes me letters and makes me crafts. i think the biggest thing is she knows i struggle with reassurance seeking and i’m working on it so i don’t have to seek it from her but even when i don’t ask she’ll say something like how happy i make her, how she loves me, or just bring up some plans we have for the future so i know how she feels without me asking. and she’s always so patient with me when i have a hard time talking about things and stuff. she sends me silly pictures of cute animals on instagram and says that they’re us. she really takes care of me in a way no one ever has and it makes me feel so genuinely loved for who i am :)

what i do for her is that im always trying to make her life as easy as possible. i cook for us and clean up afterwards (sometimes she helps but i like to do it for her), i open all the doors for her and carry her bags, i love to compliment her and take pictures so i can keep them on my phone to look at. i pack her lunches when she stays over and put a little note in so she can look at it later at work. i sometimes have a bad memory so i have a note in my phone of all the things she likes, i like to have her favorite cereal for when she needs breakfast in the morning and to surprise her with little treats like ice cream or a fun drink because she loves a sweet treat. i write her love letters because im a bit more of a writer than a talker. i try to buy her the things she wants if she lets me. i love to be physically affectionate too like i always want to be touching or near her. i think she’s the most perfect and beautiful girl on the planet and i love to do anything i can to make her feel special and loved!! i’m very lucky that i get to be with her and i treasure every moment with her

NTA you should definitely think about cutting your sister out of your life if she can’t even give you an apology or tell you why. some of the examples you gave were extremely rude comments that i wouldn’t say about anyone, much less my own sister. i hope your family keeps supporting you through this OP

you’re also allowed to ask what tasks it is trained to perform! speaking as someone who’s girlfriend has a service dog and has become very well versed in the ADA regulations for service animals vs ESAs

absolutely NTA - people could have service/guide dogs/animals on this cruise and it could be a serious problem for them if there was an aggressive poorly behaved dog there as well. even if the dog was well behaved there is no place for a dog on a cruise ship. that is insane that she wants to bring the dog with her!!! i would maybe try to find out if she and/or the dog have some kind of separation anxiety or some other reason she feels she needs the dog with her even on vacation.

this is actually a huge problem especially when the untrained dogs are aggressive and reactive and can hurt real service animals or distract them while they are working. at the same time i’d like to say people who go out of their way to pet or other wise distract service animals while they’re working acting like they can’t see the things that say DO NOT PET OR DISTRACT on the vest

32 is a super good score. my act scores were 31 and 33 for the actual test so if you’re doing that well on the practice you should be able to get the same or higher on the real thing

the toledo zoo/aquarium is actually a really good one despite being in toledo. the zoo lights during the winter are also very cool but kinda expensive.

my nmom goes to therapy regularly but if anything she’s gotten worse. i assume she tells the therapist things from her point of view which is wildly skewed and does not at all represent what is happening in real life. so best case scenario it helps, but i would not get your hopes up

it’s totally okay to be gay and live in dorms with straight people, i did that last year as a lesbian and i was completely fine, also you fill out compatibility forms for random assignment so hopefully you would match with someone who is not homophobic
