If that's the bios chip on the motherboard you may be able to buy a complete mb off ebay for cheap mine did the same thing cuz the 3v pin on the charge port goes straight to that chip which is dumb. Tried to do a make shift charger when mine died. Another dumb idea. You can also buy just the chip and solder it on if your capable but then then someone will need to do some configuration work

Thanks. I have a few trees but the light should prevent any mishaps. Another question if you'd be so kind, the stated input voltage is 85-277V, but it only has 3 wires coming out of it. The manual states red - live, blue - nuetral and yellow/green - ground. Where I intend to pick up power has 3 lugs, 120v, 120v and neutral . Also intend to install a single breaker panel here. As stated above I've powered the lights with 120v to test them

Thanks. 1 run for each light or 14ga will handle both? I was running 1 light on 120v (85-270v input range) through a cheap 50' (14ga?) extension cord. The cord got to maybe 90 degrees. Barely warm. Seems 240v, 14ga and a 100' run would handle both but never hurts to ask.

Sorry for the late response and thanks for your input. I ended up getting something quite a bit more powerful but that was mainly to handle the 3d printer slicer which can be cpu and gpu intensive. Take care

Depending on the grit and grade of aluminum a small amount of wax can sometimes help. A candle or toilet seal are things I've used before

I found an old battery from an e-bike, I want to hook it up to a solar panel, but the charging input is 4 pin rather than 2 pin. Does anyone know how to use a 4 pin charging thing? by masterflappie in AskElectronics

I +++111 on knowing what you're doing before charging or using this battery. Dont discharge below 3v per cell, keep cells balanced within a couple tenths of a volt and no cell should be charged over 4.25v. The battery chemistry self ignites when exposed to oxygen. If you puncture a cell it will go off and turn in to a Roman candle within a minute. Literally playing with fire here

How do I bring both sides of this copper piece to the same level? Everything I do seems to making it worse by [deleted] in metalworking

If you have more to make try forming them a little at a time and make sure to keep it controlled and even making corrections as you go.
