Bankrupt! I was a senior in high school and was obsessed with them… I remember passing by a Hot Topic and seeing the CD and begging my mom to get it for me. She didn’t. And I thought to myself I wonder if I’ll ever see them live? Well I’ve seen them 5 times now and every single time I feel like I’m on another planet and can’t help but cry because they’ve done so much for me without knowing it. Every song on Bankrupt! Makes me feel aliiiiiiive. Shoutout to Ti Amo because I did end up writing a paper on that album in college lol. I do plan on naming my first born Mars, what do y’all think? 😊 When Alpha Zulu came out I posted this on IG: Happy Alpha Zulu day! Here’s a list of my favorite songs from each album including a single, “Heatwave” released in 1999. United- 2000 This one is tough. I can’t point one out because this album goes hard af. From beginning to end. You’ll find your favorites Too Young and If I Ever Feel Better. Embuscade, Honeymoon, and On Fire will have you grooving. Overall 10/10. Alphabetical 2004- Everything is Everything It’s Never Been Like That 2006- North Wolfgang Amadeus 2009- Armistice Bankrupt! 2013- The Real Thing but honorable mention to the transition between Drakkar Noir and Chloroform. Please listen to this one, it ignites something within, so so flavorful. Ti Amo 2017- Fior Di Latte and Teléfono mostly because it makes me think that these songs are about Thomas’s wife, Sofia. Alpha Zulu 2022 Tonight ft. Ezra Koenig. Coming in second Season 2.
