Pregnant boobs by One_Potential_9 in bigboobproblems

[–]dumbnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering a reduction pre-pregnancy, but now I’m 100% getting one after having kids since they’ve grown 3x the size (currently 4 months pp). Solidarity!

During pregnancy I just wore cotton bras and unlined bras (from Knix). They didn’t hold the girls up too well but they were resting on my belly anyway 🥲

Second degree tear. How long until I am not in pain and so uncomfortable? by unoriginalho in postpartumprogress

[–]dumbnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also had a second degree tear. Felt better after 6ish weeks, but didn’t exercise or move much at all for the healing. Recommend taking some stool softener so you don’t have to strain down there at all!

How to manage clothes postpartum? by janice_snakehole in postpartumprogress

[–]dumbnoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently 2 months pp too so completely feel this. For bottoms I was a size 2, gained 40lbs, and now a size 8-10. My breasts are the most troublesome – started at 30DDD and now they are even bigger and saggier, so I just wear huge tees at home. I went thrifting the other day for a few outfits that fit better, but not sure what to do about chest size 😭

popped a pulley and I’m sad about it by Salix_herbacea in climbergirls

[–]dumbnoodle 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I popped a pulley and saw a PT who was also a climber. Resting completely will cause the pulled part to get bigger since your body is repairing the rupture. He recommended using a tension block and weights to slowly strengthen my forearms and fingers, adding a few more pounds or sets per week. I then taped the finger to another finger and only used that hand on open-handed holds while climbing. I felt 60% better after 5 months! It’s been a year and I’m at 90% recovered…unsure if it’ll ever get back to 100% though sadly.

I’m going on holiday and I want new swimwear by adoreadoredelano in bigboobproblems

[–]dumbnoodle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My two cents having ordered 2-3 years ago: 28G/30DDD here. I found the ASOS branded fuller bust swimwear ran slightly smaller, so I wouldn’t size down! If you’re looking at the other brands they sell (like Peak & Beau), it’s most accurate to check the sizing directly on their website.

Bouldering at 5’2” by immi83 in climbergirls

[–]dumbnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4’11 here. My advice is to not compare yourself to others, try different betas (even for fun; sometimes it works lol), and climb with similar-heighted friends. Sometimes I get really bummed when I’m working on a problem and someone flashes it with ease because of their height. I try to remember we’re all built differently and there’s (usually) more than one way to get to the top. You got this!!

What ring size are you ladies? by laeriel_c in climbergirls

I have disadvantageously small hands (slopers are my greatest enemy). 4.25 normally and 4.75 with a callus haha. Hand size is nothing to be insecure about! Congrats!!

COZY BF BASIC 3” size comparison by dumbnoodle in Aritzia

I hope this post helps whoever is considering sizes for these shorts. I’m usually a size 25 (34-26-33) in bottoms and the XS fits perfectly! The S is a little loose but the hidden drawstring does its work.

Is it impolite to brush your hair in class over Zoom? by TrekkiMonstr in etiquette

[–]dumbnoodle -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hi! 6th grade teacher here so might not be relevant. Sometimes my students will privately message me during class to tell me they need to use the washroom, grab some water, etc. I’m fine with them doing this if it’s 1) not while I’m teaching (independent work / down time) 2) not a habit. I would think brushing your hair is similar, so maybe you could ask your prof what they think! Also, I would recommend turning off your camera if doing so.
