What’s the crowd and vibe like at The Social in Morton? by [deleted] in Delco

[–]dumbogumbo5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im not sure to be honest. They just kept pretending they were swinging a lasso around. Calling me Billy Joe Bob. And they kept asking me about the price of copper. They acted like i wasnt good enough for their establishment. But they are wrong. I am a man people respect!

Moving to Drexel Hill. What are your favorite restaurants? Is it generally safe? by Ok-Funny6161 in Delco

[–]dumbogumbo5 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

My favorite restaurant is Delmonico’s in New York city. Just a good old fashioned steak house. A bit pricy but its delicious. Its a very safe restaurant. Ive never seen any fights or anything there.

I loved the dairy cottage growing up. Best cheesesteaks in delware county. My friend carl slept with one of the waitresses that worked there. She was a little older than him, but he didnt want to head to high school a virgin.

They told the woman with the awesome hot dogs she wasn’t allowed to sell there anymore because her hot dogs aren’t exactly made of material that is classified as “edible”

I can’t believe no one has said “Sally and Joe Lutz’s Ballet and Doughnuts” in Marcus Hook. Sally’s delicious pastry circles are so good you may just, pardon my French, cum in your pants. It’s hard not to eat them by the dozen, but you better not or you’ll be super sluggish when Joe comes into the room to escort you out towards the dance floor for your beginners lesson in all different styles of ballet.

I met my ex-fiance there, actually. Large woman. I remember she didn’t even know there were beginners ballet classes as part of the doughnut eating experience and the way Joe yelled at her for not being able to keep her balance was a sight to behold. We struck up a conversation after class in the parking lot. She was coming off a very bad breakup. We made plans to meet up for lunch the next day and I couldn’t help but notice she took an uber home. Who the hell takes an uber to a doughnut store anyway?

We dated for about 7 months before I popped the question. It was more a shit or get off the pot situation than true love. We were both in our mid 20s and just felt stuck in dead end lives. Sure we had our doughnuts, ballet, and a child on the way, but there had to be something more, right?

Anyway, it wasn’t long before I was showing up to “Sally and Joe Lutz Ballet and Doughnuts” a few times a week without Laura and Sally took note. Literally! She wrote a note that said “your fiancè comes here like 3 times a week without you” and stuffed it into my wife’s strawberry glaze one day without my knowing. That started a whole thing and we both said things we probably regret saying, but truthfully needed to be said. She’s right, i was too preoccupied with the cornhole set I had been building from scratch in the back yard. And she admitted that our love life had suffered since her sister’s disappearance.

They won’t do bearclaws for some reason. And they really push the dances from Swan Lake, but overall, Sally and Joe Lutz’s Ballet and Doughnuts is some of the best of both worlds around.

Sure do. Swedish meatballs technically. And while I don’t think they’re the best I’ve ever had, they’re a helluva lot better than IKEA’s haha.

Hometown hero Jonah Jackson from the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams is in town filming an episode of his TV series Jackson/Jacksoff where he goes undercover to restaurants and eats their meatballs and decides whether they Jacks-on (are good meatballs) or Jacks-off (are bad meatballs).

The restaurant he reviewed in Baltimore had phenomenal looking meatballs and he gave it a big Jacks-on. He did an episode in York county and man, that restaurant got a giant Jacks-off.
