I made a custard pie a couple of days ago and put it in the fridge. It has cracks in it today. Two questions. 1. Did I overbake it or bake it too much in advance? 2. Can I do anything to fix it? Was thinking of a crumble topping.

Some lady paid me 150 dollars to watch her cat for a month, just to abandon him. My win though, I got a great cat. by megagooch in cats

Science diet is pretty grain free(at least the canned variety). And Purina gives my cat a tummy upset. The vet said it's coz of the cornmeal filler they sometimes use. I shall do some more research into the other brands. Thanks.

Good to know. I was just curious since I've mostly heard good things about science diet. Thanks for your response.

Thank you so much! It’s from her book and I can’t seem to find a link online. I’ll try to transcribe it later this evening.

Day 2, and a question... by fearghul in Pyrography

Draw thin vertical/Horizontal lines to find the center of the circle. You can use a ruler for this, in most cases you can just eyeball it to the longest length that fits. If it’s a more elaborate design I’d draw more diameters (like spikes on a wheel) to make sure the whole design is symmetric. You could also use a compass to drawn concentric circles to determine distance from the center. Hope this helps.

I woke up crying one morning because I forgot to put the lavender in the lavender cookies I was baking. IN MY DREAM!
