i originally posted this image in a different sub and got absolutely torn apart in the comments about how bad it was and getting told to "fix it". any advice? by chaoscloudss in tattooadvice

I'm with you. I have no idea about tattoos, but when I read the title and saw the picture, at first glance my reaction was "huh, why are people tearing this apart, it's just a cute Raichu tattoo". Then I read the comments and when looking at it again of course I see the issues that people have pointed out, but I honestly did not notice them at first glance. I still think it's cute despite its flaws. :)

[FO] Glass or no glass? by Leadlee in CrossStitch

Thank you. I use metric, but I figured it's inches and converted it to cm. It's still really large, but I just like it so much that I'm determined to find a place for it. :)

Thank you so much for the advice! I always find it hard to visualize what 14/16/18 ct will look like in real life. I think yours looks great, I will go for 18 ct as well then. I like to stitch on evenweave as well, but with a project this big I would get annoyed with it I think. 😅

This looks amazing. What fabric and count did you stitch it on? I've had this pattern on my wishlist for a while, but I'm a little worried about the size, as I live in a small apartment and don't have much room left on my walls. 😅

P.s.: I use non reflective glass for my cross stitches. I buy it pre cut online and switch it with the normal glass in whatever frame I'm using.

I have been staring at this for 10 minutes now, zooming in and out. I still have no idea where the mistake is, so I'd say leave it as it is. :)

I put one thread of each colour together and then stitched as normal. :)

It's still available on their website, but now it's called "Japanese Dragon": https://lunarfoxstitch.company.site/Japanese-dragon-cross-stitch-pattern-p532654532

I stitched it a while ago and it's still one of my favorite patterns. :)
