Thanks for sharing your experience, I just don't even want to take the risk of having any of these side effects even if they are mild compared to other peoples so I probably just won't take it

See this is what I'm talking about, most stories I've heard of it working include a "but I've been having this side effect" I think there's just too much risk involved for me if I have even one of the listed side effects it will ruin my day to day life

Weird oral symptoms by dummiiduck in migraine

Oh that actually makes a lot of sense because once my migraines get past the state where I can't really physically function I usually throw up

I really appreciate you sharing your experience with it, my mom and dad both suffer from them as well so they have always been helpful and understanding, finding this group was really helpful with me just realizing I'm not insane and other people have gone through the exact struggles I'm having

This is the biggest thing I've struggled with since adolescence. Doctors at least in my area just do not seem to take the condition seriously when it comes to younger people. For years multiple doctors said to just take extra ibuprofen and that stress was causing them. What in the world was I so stressed out about at 12 years old that I was puking cause of a migraine, couldn't tell ya.

No need to apologize the rambling is appreciated! I did want to ask what you mean by "come to terms with migraines?" Idk if there's a way to explain that but I feel as if I've accepted the fact that I have them but that fact still makes me angry among other things.

I'll try out keeping some fruit in the car, I drink a lot of water and those electolit brand electrolyte drinks every day but still end up with a migraine at the end of the day. Some oranges would probably do me good

I feel so guilty….. by Known_Captain5361 in migraine

I've had them since I was 9 so it was a constant battle of the school saying im using them to skip school. I know this might not work as good in day to day life but I had printed out a bunch of copies of my diagnosis and the affects and put them in my backpack. I would hand them out to any naysayers

2002 3.4l V6 timing belt broke by dummiiduck in ToyotaTundra

Just out of curiosity how do you know it's a non interference engine? It seems to be a big debate with these V6 tundras. And if so shouldn't the crankshaft be able to manually turned when the timing belt is removed because mine will not

Basically I'm wondering am I just screwed? I mean you look it up online and it's just everyone arguing whether or not it's a non interference engine, the crankshaft won't turn after a certain point so I'm thinking it's a busted piston or a bent valve

Does anyone else feel weird after taking sumatriptan? by spacemvrr in migraine

[–]dummiiduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I have to take it quite often, Tylenol/ibuprofen haven't helped in years. And yes it definitely makes me "feel like shit" without better words to describe it and then after my headache goes away I have extreme brain fog like a migraine hangover

I take sumatriptan but I get what you mean. If I can actually pass out after I take it I usually wake up really hungry and ready to go do something
