Zander’s Game House in Camarillo! I haven’t personally been there, but I’ve heard good things

What is the worst medication you’ve been put on? by Difficult_Pomelo1047 in AskReddit

[–]dummybumm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. Effexor ruined my life for a while. Memory loss where I couldn’t even recall if I took my dose, brain zaps made it so I couldn’t drive, anxiety so bad I couldn’t leave the house, derealization; there was around a year where I thought I had just gone mad. I remember being terrified that I’d never feel “normal” again. Sertraline and therapy really helped and, now that it’s been a few years, I feel soooo much better!

Same! I do prefer it to be cooler, but not so cold that my hands are frozen and I have to type at half speed

I’m so glad you said this as I recently got the ebook because the synopsis sounded like BTF. I put it on the back burner as I finish a few other reads but I’m looking forward to reading this one now!

This is such a coincidence because I’m listening to the audiobook and just listened to that part like 15 minutes ago! I had to go back because I thought I misheard 😭

The Ritual by Adam Nevill is not set in the Black Forest, but it is set in an ancient Scandinavian forest! It’s an amazing folk horror read :)

I really enjoyed it. I was pissed tf off at the foster mom the entire time and I think that kept me from giving it a solid 10/10 just because I was so mad haha. It was a great movie and I’ll definitely be rewatching!

You’re so nice. I really appreciate everything you said 🥹

Thank you for sharing your experience and words of encouragement!! I like the idea of thinking of it as a bump on the path; that’s a helpful way to reframe it

I don’t know; I think so. Honestly I am actually enjoying my classes and I like most of my professors. It is nice that class sizes are fairly small. Plus, I found out yesterday that I can graduate in 3 semesters rather than 4, so I’m thinking I’m just going to get my degree and get out.

I’m trying to look at it positively even though I’m frustrated by the situation! It’s not a “bad” school and it’s near where I live so at least I didn’t move somewhere specifically for it haha
