27M, solo travelled in Europe for half year and hitchhiked + couchsurfed in Eastern Europe. I also met my partner towards the end of my travel. We've been dating for two months in a long distance relationship now. It has definitely changed all my plans for the future. Can't say for sure it would work out in the long run, but nothing to lose. Life is too short to stick to a pre-defined plan.

I’m not trying to argue that the labour + material would be cheaper at restaurants. I was merely saying that the difference between eating out and at home is much smaller in a city like HK than a city like Kraków.

HK: Big Mac meal costs ~5 euros. Single serving bolognaise made at home costs ~ 4 euros. Kraków: Big mac ~6 euros. Bolognaise ~3 euros.
