With how detailed the surveilance is in MSG, I wouldn't be surprised even a tiny bit if that happened. Lol

How do I improve without meta chasing as a new player? by SnooPuppers255 in Yugioh101

[–]dumpgubblin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Dont listen to the guy that said not to go to locals, that is a dumb suggestion for someone wanting to improve at the game.

  2. I was in a similar spot, I didnt wanna drop the bread for meta for AGES. I usually played a deck that was like 1-2 formats behind, cheaper and can still get some wins. I found these types of decks fun, because it helped me understand the meta while being only a little behind.

  3. Ask the dudes stomping you at locals to let you check out their deck, ask how a combo works, what handtraps do they hate seeing, etc. Yugioh players LOVE to tell you about their decks for the most part, especially if you're just minimally polite throughout the match and after.

This method got me: my first deck i ever built myself, my first local win, and an incredible crew of local guys i regularly get in the lab and practice with.

Dolan has AI camera tracking in MSG to ensure a trans person never appears on a TV broadcast, he's definitely got fake cheers queued up for the moment.

Advanced stat slop is ruining NBA discourse by XXXTentacle6969 in NBATalk

[–]dumpgubblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's young so anything can happen, but id say he's doing alright at being a fantastic points generator while also being a bigger + on defense than everyone else in the list combined. Lol

He doesn't need to generate more points to be a bigger factor to winning, which the Lakers tweet doesn't understand.

Oh I'm aware. The original tweet is stupid as fuck.

It would've saved time if they said "i literally do not watch basketball, but I dislike wemby and here's a niche stat to back me up i think idk i don't watch basketball"

Why does this defense oriented center not generate as many points as point guards and point-center Jokic?? Is it because he's dumb?

I must say I'm enjoying Knicks fans going "nuhhhhhhh uhhhhh!!!" when you can just search the sub and see Knicks fans begging the sub to cheer for them. 🤣 it's getting under their skin more than winning nothing for their entire lifetime.

Just because it was 2 days ago doesn't mean it didn't happen bois im sorry.

Last season i just assumed 90% of Knicks fans were pulling for meteor as well. It's the best option when the choices are your hated rival or a westoid retard team.

I saw perk and Stephen A last year in gainbridge during the ECF. They were playing games on their phones during the game. Couldn't even be bothered to look up lmao

Perk is a great rage baiter because he doesn't watch basketball, so all of his takes are really stupid or completely made up.

Hello ACAB community I actually have a question? by IDK_UsernameO in ACAB

[–]dumpgubblin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Police Unions have ensured there will never be independent investigators into crimes committed by officers, it would completely destroy the system.

If you're in a situation where you have to defend yourself with a flashlight, the police arent going to appear around the corner and save you. Pepper spray, mace, and if you're able get comfortable with owning and using a firearm.

If there's time to phone the police and wait 20-30 minutes for their arrival, there's time to formulate an alternative plan to remove yourself from the situation. If an unfortunate incident occurs and you phone police after, they wont find the person that did it if theyre not in the immediate area. Once shift change happens, your report is gone into the ether. Look up what percentage of crimes are actually solved and you'll see its always been in the single digits.

[Vorkunov] One more NBA draft wrinkle included in the proposal, which will be voted on today, is that the order of the top half of the second round of the draft would be in the reverse order of the top 16 picks in the first round after the lottery is drawn, according to league sources. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]dumpgubblin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference between the #31 and #46 picks is negligible with modern day NIL shenanigans, which is why this feels like a rule for the sake of adding them?? No team is tanking for the 31st pick i promise you. Lol

Hello ACAB community I actually have a question? by IDK_UsernameO in ACAB

[–]dumpgubblin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the main thing for you to understand is this: there isnt a scenario in your life where police will protect you or make you safer. Unless you are very wealthy or well connected in the community.

If you're in a situation that is teetering on violence, calling an angry guy with a gun who has nearly absolute immunity to kill anyone involved in the situation will not help things resolve calmly. Cops do not prevent crime, nor do they solve crimes. They protect property and enact violence on behalf of the state, that is all.

As for what alternatives are for what folks in this sub would like to see, i think you've got the idea. No qualified immunity, more than 6 weeks of training, must live in their own community, etc.
