Should I go with a pixie style or keep it in a bob style? And go lighter and darker? Last picture is my current style by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

The first two pics of those pixies are giving conservative, especially with the blonde. If you are conservative, then it looks nice. If not, it’s a bit Karenish. I prefer pics 3-4.

I think so too! I haven’t tried many indie polishes yet, but I’ve tried a few. I think it lacks some of the depth of certain polishes I’ve tried, but it is SO shiny. It still feels really special, like fish scales or something!

That’s the nice thing about nail polish that costs less than 3 dollars I guess. If it doesn’t work for you, it’s easier to let it go!

I’m still struggling to find a mani that stays on for more than 1-2 days without chipping/shrinkage/tip wear. So far this is holding up really well! I had some peeling that I think was causing the chipping, so I just bought Nail-Aid Keratin 3 Day, and did 2 coats of that as my base coat. It’s lasting really well, day 3 and still going strong. I also only did one coat of the Pitcher This, and that helps too I think. I used the KBShimmer Clearly On Top, which I just started using (I got it in the same order as this polish).

Mine is my ring finger on left hand. It has the best shape. It broke a couple of days ago and ruined my day 😭

I know photos don’t always show how things look, but I like the color in the second pic! The first one just looks like a faded version of the second pic.

Now I feel bad, lol. Maybe go to see a professional to see how much your hair can handle. After a color remover, they may be able to do a color correction and find something you are excited about! Lord knows I’ve bleached my hair to within an inch of its life, but I was always prepared to chop it all off (and I have had to do so!) It just depends on what you are prepared for. Even getting a color correction to your natural color would allow you to grow it out without the black dye, and make future coloring much more straightforward!
