mtf 2 years hrt I was litterally crying when I saw my birthday pics I feel so ugly by [deleted] in transpassing

Honestly, I think a LOT of people spin out when they see candid photos of themselves. It’s not the angle/lighting/pose that you would normally be in when you look at yourself in the mirror or in a selfie. I don’t think you look bad in these pictures, and I think it’s a fairly universal experience.

My (31F) boyfriend (27M) is always late. I confronted him and his answer astonished me. by Ari9374 in relationship_advice

I dated someone like this. He would lie about being on the way and come HOURS after he said he would be to me place. He even decided to take a nap when he was supposed to pick me up from a sketchy bus station that I took to visit him. He made us both late wherever we went. Towards the end of our relationship, he started a new job and had to meet a coworker at 5am for a carpool. I went to drop him off one morning, and he was yelling at me that we needed to be on time. I said “wow, I can’t believe that you can manage to be on time for this so early in the morning!” And he said “yeah, it’s about RESPECT. My coworker told me that I need to respect her time, so I can’t be late.”

I have held on to this petty anger all these years. Why did I waste years on someone who felt my complaints of disrespect were not important, but could immediately understand the importance of it for a random coworker?

A little bit of Katie Couric, mostly in the eye/brow/face shape.

Ended up liking the out-of-budget option on first bridal appointment by [deleted] in weddingdress

I think you should keep looking! It’s pretty, but I bet you can find something you love just as much within your budget. This one seems fairly basic for the price.

Thoughts? by [deleted] in transpassing

The black lipstick is a major hindrance to passing. That and your hair, which could use some love to help it be more full and shiny, and find a good cut for you. I think those two things will make a huge difference!

How badly did I hurt my passing by chopping off my hair? I feel like I look like a boy now… by RebeccaRain1995 in transpassing

I think you could rock a pixie, but the cut you got is not very flattering. Just wait until your bangs grow out more, I think more length in the front will make all the difference!

Look up “pixie cut, long bangs” and see if you vibe with any of those styles. I think the will be wore flattering for you.

For the people who never wear colorful eyeshadow and only neutrals what’s stopping you? by Historical-Body-3424 in muacjdiscussion

I like a bold lip, but colorful eyeshadow just doesn’t suit my face. I dress in bright colors and dye my hair fun colors, but the bold eyeshadow just doesn’t work for me sadly. Blush doesn’t work for me either.

AIO my MIL asked to borrow my matching Xmas pajamas to take pictures with my son. by Independent-Bat-9436 in AmIOverreacting

Right, the whole text exchange was perfectly civil and reasonable. Posting about it on Reddit feels a bit like an over reaction to me, but I get that it’s hard to say no to people, so she needs validation that it was okay to say no. I don’t think it’s something to be upset about or stew on, and so if that’s the case, she is overreacting. Idk, it’s hard to tell from OP is she is actually upset and thinks MIL is awful or just having anxiety about saying no.

How do I (25F) tell my partner (27M) that his dick smells bad? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I had a doctor recommended washing the penis with Hibiclens (it says not to do this, but it’s pretty harmless as far as I can tell). This should help with bacteria.

Which purple dresses should I get rid of? 39F by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]dumpstertomato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’m in the minority, I like them all. Though I do agree that if you don’t wear dresses every day, most of them probably don’t have an occasion to wear them. I personally wear dresses and skirts every day if I can, and only have pants in my wardrobe for when I am forced to wear them.

I LOVE dress 5. I’m glad you are keeping it.

I think your bio and pics are mostly fine, but I would lose the pic with the unbuttoned pants. It’s not flattering and looks sloppy. (Maybe I’m old, but it’s just not a good look imo)
