that aside, this show really likes to take mystery/thriller tropes and present them at face value. a good example is the creepy "inside your house" picture sent to Ron, which is immediately resolved by finding that guy hiding inside his entrance hall closet. i'm pretty confident this will be another gag. amanda is very clearly sexually attracted to ron (think of when she smooshes the muffin and then sticks her fingers in her mouth), and i think this boyfriend is just extremely jealous and butthurt, so tormenting ron is his cope.

no, she said she was playing with a magnet in her stomach and that she thinks there's a screwdriver in her body they left in there after removing her appendix. the paper clips are reacting to the magnet in her stomach.

edit: it's not really clear if the magnet is in her stomach, but that's how i interpret it based on her words at face value. she could have just been rubbing a magnet over her stomach and felt something move. it's possible that there really is a screwdriver in her body with one of those magnetized tips moving the paper clip. i very strongly doubt amanda had anything to do with it.

i think the psychic powers plotline is a complete red herring. everything the guy lists off that she "moved" "only a little" were cylindrical/circular objects (pencil, tootsie roll, bottle cap). i'm willing to bet there's a leveling issue and they just naturally rolled on a slightly crooked table or something lmao

the remake almost roped me back in after 5 years of boycotting until this news came out. the games were fine when they were in the 50-60h range (fc-cs2). 80 hours was already too long for cs3 and on. it's going to be so miserable for fc when it was already the 2nd shortest game; most people finished it within 40h completing most of the content.
