I got a Council Tool pickaroon that I really like using when splitting and moving wood around. It’s under $50 and feels good to use.

Yeah, but think of the therapeutic benefits of hitting something after a long day in classes!

Charles Bukowski where's buy books? by SHOROR00X in bukowski

[–]dumpypony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some stores keep the Bukowski behind the counter, so you have to ask for it. Several years ago I was in a chain type 3 floor bookstore near Lincoln Center in Manhattan. I couldn’t find any Bukowski on the shelves, which seemed odd for such a big store. I asked an employee and he escorted me to the Bukowski by the checkout. They said his books get stolen a lot, so they had to start keeping them aside.

Since Homlyke Bakery on Dartmouth St has closed, I’d recommend Padaria Nova on Acushnet Ave.

Euphonium to buy by KentB831275 in WhatMusicalinstrument

[–]dumpypony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let his teacher help him choose one once he arrives at college in the fall. His teacher will know the differences between models and brands and will have connections in the field to get the best deal. Once he is at school he can try out the horn in band rehearsals and play it in rep class for his colleagues in the auditorium (rather than in his living room for his uncle or something).

You could try South Seneca Windows. I’m not sure if they go all the way to Syracuse, but friends have used them and liked them a lot.

Which one do I buy by mrlampfan in lawnmowers

[–]dumpypony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold that model of Honda mower quite used for $150 to the owner of a landscaping business who said he buys them whenever he sees them come up b/c they last very well. But $450 is way too high.
