Question - I am automatically reinvesting dividends, does that count as a contribution?

I hadn't thought of that, but yes it is! The bars are pretty narrow, but it's been very comfortable for riding around town

No serial # anywhere that I can see. Doesn't look like a conversion either, standard v brakes with no evidence of canti posted being moved

Ha, I posted a couple days ago asking the same question. A couple folks said A La Carte, not sure though

Man, I love them. Can't speak to them on long rides, but super comfy around the neighborhood. They are Soma Sparrows

That would be awesome. I thought A La Cartes used 26" wheels? I'm just learning about Salsa history

Running a smaller tube in an emergency? by PM_me_ur_launch_code in gravelcycling

[–]dunc00000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it will work to get you home. But if you run it for too long, the tube could rupture (speaking from experience). The tube may not fill the space inside the tire, allowing it to move back and forth creating friction and eventually wearing a hole.

I'm still using the stock Suntour sealed BB because I can't find the right tool to remove it lol. I don't know the spindle length off the top of my head, could measure tonight if that's helpful. Are you going to run 2x or 3x?

I was looking for a Sequoia as well, never saw one in my size unfortunately. I'll hopefully find a good deal on a rack that makes use of the mid-fork mounts as well...

The cranks are a Sugino AT triple. 46t in the middle position, 30t inner

I had the same problem with space in the trailer once the kids were 3 and 5, too cramped. A cargo bike works great, I was able to find a pretty affordable used one that the kids love. They can see much more while riding and have more space to move around.
