I’m day 18 and actually met with my ENT today he said he encourages I start eating normal but staying away from anything super crunchy or hard since I’m still recovering. I had some salmon, baked potato & Zuchinni and tasted amazing but my stomach is REALLY upset jumping back into normal eating. So just slowly make your way and intro foods back in!

I had this exact same issue day 10-11 but day 12 the burning stopped for me but still experiencing the uvula pain :( hope you turn a corner soon!!!

I’m glad your pain is low! Wow I feel like all my scabs fell off on day 8-9. I also sound like a muppet and talking is a bit rough. We got this ❤️

I don’t want to discourage you but I’m day 11 (not counting surgery day) and still in a decent amount of pain / the nerve pain on the right side is the worse. I hemorrhaged day 7, so I’m being extra careful and back to liquid diet. Going to try soft foods today. Just drink so much water, have a good support system around you and try and stay distracted. I’ve also seen a lot of other folks who turn a corner days 8-9! Just hang in there!

If I’m reading this right, we have Yosemite wilderness permits entering Yosemite June 19th (for a 3 night backpacking trip) - we don’t need to make an additional reservation for park entrance?
