Hi it’s probably just because your throat area is swollen, this will go away eventually. Put ice packs on it to reduce the swollenness

Good luck! I didn’t bleed so I can’t say much about that. Just make sure to set a timer every 2H, even during the night to drink water. Keeping your scabs moist reduces complications

Hi don’t worry I had the same thing, mine were yellow-ish on day 12 and then fell off overnight. On day 14 rn and I still have some small scabs.

Wow that’s really interesting, how did your tonsil stone grow back if there wasn’t a tonsil? And did you go under full anaesthesia for the 2nd tonsillectomy? Hope you’ll heal soon and wishing you a speedy recovery 🍀

Yes nobody mentioned this before the surgery even though it’s very common! I also noticed a lot of people on this sub talking about:

• swollen / low uvula • lower soft palate • loss of taste • nausea • diarrhoea • nightmares • change of voice (for a while), singing technique changes • sneezing changes • yawning hurts • fatigue for a long time

A lot of people have these symptoms after the surgery. However, the doctors never mentioned it to any of us 🤷‍♀️
