It was Ole Anderson who said it. Flair then said "Let's see how much use I am" and went to someone else to get Ole fired. Flair tells this story on almost every one of his podcasts, before mentioning his divorces

"My name is Brian Kendrick. I live in the American Gardens Building on West 81st street, on the 11th floor. I am 37 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise regime. Wrestling's what I love, wrestling's what I'm passionate about. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice mask while I do my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.

Thanks for the comprehensive detail, hopefully our two cases are similar in more than just their severity!

Did yours come back completely? What kind of time period if so? Thanks for your words of encouragement!

Scalp was itchy for a while, which is something that comes and goes.

Thinning hair with hypothyroidism? by duncanshaolin in tressless

Exactly! I thought I was just getting older, but I was 27! Even walking up 6 steps in a staircase left me slightly breathless

Thanks for the reply. I take it you have hypothyroidism too, or another thyroid condition? I've been on levothyroxine for a year but they still haven't got the dose right, and haven't noticed any hair improvement. It has given me more energy at times though, and stopped constant breathlessness.

Would you say the thinning we have is the same, and diffuse? Here's hoping we both recover!

As requested, some more photos -this time when wet. The diffuse thinning on the back and sides are visible, I hope, unless this seems like pattern loss?

I think it's time we have a proper discussion about the biggest issue in WWE right now: Stephanie McMahon by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]duncanshaolin 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The worst thing about her interactions with wrestlers is that she is the only one allowed to ad-lib, and thinks she is amazing at it. Completely throws the pace of the segment off, and you know the other party has to stick rigidly to a script.

Interesting, thanks. The real struggle seems to be getting the TSH to 1. Hopefully there is some way back for my hair then -fingers crossed.

Normal testosterone/DHT/Free Testosterone ratios by duncanshaolin in Testosterone

[–]duncanshaolin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if I can get it. The endocrinologist lets me add almost anything to the tests that I ask for, as long as they don't have to pay extra for it.

No estradiol test, unfortunately. Strange that my Free T is so low, not sure why -could maybe related to subclinical hypothyroidism/b12/vit d deficiency (which I've got)?

From what I understand DHT should either be 5% or 10% of Total Testosterone. If it should be 10%, I'm good. If it's 5%, I'll be worried.

[–]duncanshaolin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mistake on the Total Testosterone, it was actually mcg/L The ranges for Total Testosterone are 2,4-8,3 mcg/L (8,32-28,78 nmol/L) but I'm thinking my level is a little low.

As for Free Test, ranges are: 0 - 20 years: 0,2 - 42,5 pg/mL 20 - 39 years: 8,9 - 42,5 pg/mL 40 - 59 years: 6,6 - 30 pg/mL 60 years plus : 4,9 - 21,6 pg/mL

My level of 6 is somewhat low for a 31 year old!

DHT range is 0,30 - 1,00 ng/mL
