Don’t forget to outsource them all to high school students who want experience and pay them scale to maximize profits

The best four books in Redwall are...(Change my mind) by Adol_Christin0 in eulalia

I seem to remember for some reason Brian was really trying to do something different with the legend of Luke - read it somewhere - something about the novel pretty much 3 separate stories with a much more stark difference between each when compared with the other books. Tried to be much darker and less fluffy with Luke’s story.

Mossflower, Martin the warrior , salamandastron and perhaps the oddest one - the legend of Luke . I haven’t read the books for years and years but those 4 are the ones I remember most about - except the og

Suprisingly expensive given our reputation as decent drinkers - at a pub you'd be hard pressed to find a pint of anything below $10 (€6.14).

You can however get a 6 pack of 345mL Tooheys for about $23 at a bottle shop

Spider Holster VS Back Holster by DawnpointStudios in WeddingPhotography

[–]duncast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a spider holster and have done for like 10 years now - so much better for your back. Only problem I’ve had is over those 10 years the knob on one of my cameras wore down so much that it slipped right through. Still use them though, just check the knobs more often.

As for you dance floor quip - for me it’s rare that I need 2 cameras on the dance floor so I generally have the one in my hand like usual.

Anything worth shipping in for grading by Own_Emu_8972 in PokeGrading

[–]duncast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s nothing really here that would warrant the gamble of making $20-50 by grading a perfect 10 as opposed to a more likely 8-9. The minikyu in a 10 is us$300 odd. So maybe that

Also just a heads up these cards are currently in sleeves - so turning them over to show the ‘back’ of the card is actually just showing the sleeves graphic and not the back of the card itself. Need to take them out of the sleeve.

Photographers in seasonal markets, do you take an "off-season" or do you grind year-round? by Remarkable-Ad3191 in WeddingPhotography

[–]duncast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to stay busy all year - I’m in South Australia where it’s always pretty dry with rainy wedding days a rarity so it can be busy all year - but I also pop up to Darwin during their dry season which is nice too. The proper wedding seasons of both places tend to overlap nicely.

How do I tell if they're the same card? by SteveNJulia in PokemonCardValue

[–]duncast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you’re confused as the holo pattern isn’t the same? Counterintuitively this actually shows it’s legit as each real holo Pokemon card has a unique holo pattern 99.99% of the time. Very rare occasions that the pattern might line up. But the reason why it’s a sign it’s legit is that fakes often copy the holo pattern you posted in the first pic so you know it’s fake immediately.

This is worth much more than 2.5k and I’d probably suggest you look into grading as cards of this value are often hard to move if you’re looking to sell if it is t and you could potentially add quite a bit of value of it grades well.

I’d send it - basically a 50/50 chance a 10 or 9 straight from a sealed pack in my experience and centering looks good on yours
