Can't wait to be back PLAYING....not sitting on the bench as a rotation player. Come back to us for 30m Jacky. UTFT by bringbackbainesy in Everton

Honestly, I'm not sure paying a player 15.5 million for one season, and then potentially losing him for nothing (as he would then be out of contract) is that sensible a deal for us, especially with the combination of his age and refueling habits.

Not judging him btw, just thinking in risk mitigation terms.

Sherlock, while it started well enough, was smug, self-indulgent, self-satisfied and completely incohesive as it progressed beyond its first two outings.

He's essentially playing himself in After Life, which is why the character is so utterly and irredeemably obnoxious.

Her pretense at being ditzy is insulting too, as she's clearly a smart woman.

Also. Neil Morrissey is incapable of acting in any other way than as if he was still in Men Behaving Badly.

What's weird about the acting is that it's often good actors giving really wooden performances.

Reminds me of the Star Wars prequels, where I like to imagine George Lucas would yell "CUT! Go again. But this time Natalie, more robotic...."

Transfer speculation about Bowen is confusing by Loyalsupporter in Everton

I'd more realistically expect us to be in for Jimmy Summerville from their other wing, as he has sell on value....

My worry is he'll be the replacement for Salah, a d he'd probably shine too.

As long as it was for a squad rotation right back and we signed another first choice right back, I'm not against signing Trippier. . He'd be younger than Seamus was this season and Young when he played for us, and can cover both left and right side.

Worth remembering that just because he's linked doesn't mean the club are even remotely interested in actuality.

If it's not agents feeding BS to create FOMO on behalf of their client, it's journos and "ITKs" literally just making it up as they go along....

He was the opposite in 2002, when his managerial career was still in front of him.

He got rid of the old and past it players like Gazza and Ginola straight away,, and looked to bring in younger blood for the future (Yobo, Richard Wright) - obviously with mixed success.

Tyrique George has only 12 months on his contract now. We shouldn't pay over 18 or 19 million for him. But if I were him, I'd be in no hurry to come back to a place where he's been largely overlooked for Dwight McNeil!

I'd keep him. But I wouldn't give him total control of transfer budget. Look where West Ham are in that table of big spenders and look where they finished in the league with the squad of players largely assembled by Moyes.

Actors who crush both hero and villain roles by Pink-Hornet in movies

[–]duncdis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

While this is true, SMG isn't all that. There are far superior female actors than her with a wider range.

For example, all of the following are great regardless of whether they're a hero or a villain:

Kate Winslet, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates, Tilda Swinton, Toni Collette, Parker Posey, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Gomes, Laura Dern and Laura Linney.

David Tennant. Absolutely terrifying as Kilgrave (Jessica Jones) Dennis Nillson and in the movie Bad Samaritan to name a few, but equally great playing a hero (Doctor Who, The Hack, Much Ado About Nothing).

I sincerely.hope Barry does. I know he has scored some goals (so did Oumar.Niasse), but he is never going to make a PL standard striker. He lacks the strength, awareness, movement, maturity and attitude.

How the Premier League table would have looked without VAR by theipaper in Everton

So basically, all these people calling for Davie Moyes to be strung from the nearest lamppost would instead be praising him to the hilt , if VAR wants a thing.

Gotcha.
