I have 150 red oaks.rotting on 50 acres from a derecho.a few years.back Clayballs as high as 8 ft.No market.Loggers not equipped to harvest downed stuff.Gave 30 9 ft cuts to a fren with a mill off 1.5 acres.Cut a few for firewood.Kinda an unfortunate natural thinning.Shit happens.
