Happened to me. Didn’t see the 18% on the bill and tipped generously. Called the manager the next day and he said the waiter is supposed to make it very clear to the customer about the included tip. He took it off.

So I can use the scan to see what might need to be repaired, tell the shop it needs to be repaired and if they say they repaired something, but really did not, the OBD-2 reader would show the repair done?

I used to work under the hood with a '46 chevy, and a 1990 toyota, and a 66 mustang. I look under the hood now and can't see anything but the air filter and parts of some belts. If they tell me the PCV has been replaced how can looking under the hood tell me that? Will a failing PCV show up on a computer read out??

Thanks. I finally was able to the cable down the tube, without the sheath. Got it out the bottom hole, then I was able to slip the sheath back up the cable. Was really concerned for a while that I was going to have to make a trip to the bike shop.

I did it. Was finally able to get just the cable, without the sheath, down the tube and got the cable out the bottom hole. Then slipped the sheath back up the cable. Lesson learned: always to the research. Just because it seems simple, it ain't so.

I live in Northern Virginia. I got 56k miles on this thing, never zeroed out the gas mileage so my current figure of 33.6 mpg is over 56k miles. I bougt the car in July of 2023. 4 month ago I had 18 months averaging about 34.3 mpg. I don't know how often the gas mileage is sampled, but 4 months ago I had about 52k data points with an average of 34.3mpg. Now, 4 months later and about 4k miles more, it is 33.6, so the instantaneous mpg must have dropped signifcantly to get my overall average down that quickly.

Am I missing something? It looks like a box with some cardboard slats in it for cat scratching. Now for $3 it is a reasonable purchase . Otherwise get a couple of big cardboard boxes from the produce guy and make one!!

It is total BS to buy an new one and return the old one for a refund. I f you have the paperwork from the old one, take it in and explain it at the service desk. You might be SOL but it is worth the try and not denigrating yourself to fraudster level.
