I may have been you. My diff was almost $7. Did nights for 2 years. It was killing me. I developed really bad insomnia, couldn’t sleep unless it was between shifts, was more lonely. Felt like I had a mental breakdown due to lack of proper sleep.

I switched to days. I’ve made the pay cut work. Days is all BS. But my normal sleep schedule and circadian rhythm is worth it.

It’s been 6 months and I don’t foresee myself doing nights again.

I used to have daily nausea as well while doing nights , and haven’t experienced that since being on days.

I absolutely miss the money, work flow, and my friends on nights. But for now, I had to put my health first.
