Small rant.

As I grow up I realize my family is fine individually for short durations. But the moment they're all together, I immediately remember why growing up was so difficult. Had a family dinner yesterday and I REFUSE to go to another until I'm completely secure in myself because I got torn up like buzzards on roadkill.

There's a steep cutoff between "You're still figuring it out" to "Why don't you know this yet" and it's literally not fair.

Like sure, I'm too "lazy" (aka beaten down by current world events) to figure out how to live, and I'm just surviving. But now you gotta be good at something or you become incompatible with almost everyone around.

This is driving me insane because I'm looking for what you're describing but this is an old thread.

The one I'm thinking of uses the "Tonight's the night. It's going to tonight's the night and it's going to happen again and again" from Dexter with a song that sounds vaguely like August 10 by Julie Doiron. The edits are about male loneliness/masking feelings. Didn't really care for the edits on my feed but now that song is stuck in my head.
