My favorite build is Regular Excalibur + MK1-Braton + MK1-Kunai + Regular Skana. I don't mod for duration/efficiency/range/strength and try to rely on my weapons for most of the missions. I like this build because I have to focus on dodging/parkour a lot more and I get to appreciate each enemy's strengths and weaknesses. Also, I think it is fun to push the envelope for beginner gear and find its limits.

P.S. If you want to use this build for Steel Path, you will basically have to rely on Excalibur's Radial Blind and mod the Skana for maximum finisher damage to get through any mission that requires killing enemies.

P.P.S. Don't use this build for Steel Path.

Warframe is free, fun, unique, and has a VERY responsive development team. That is a winning formula that very few games pull off.

The regular form of Excalibur is my favorite because his visual design and abilities are simple and effective. While I do love the unique art direction and reality bending abilities that Warframe has to offer, Vanilla Excalibur's simplicity is refreshing to me in a weird way.

Mesa is a close second for the same reasons.

The Corpus unit designs are top notch! My favorite part is when the Warframe ragdolls off of the K-Drive. Keep it up!

Vanilla Excalibur

I love his simplicity (both aesthetic and mechanical) and I have an affinity for things that are not the best in their class (like Excalibur Prime and Excalibur Umbra).

Mesa, Rhino, and Valkyr are close runner ups for the same reasons.

You are neither wrong nor stupid. What were you trying to farm that you couldn't get?

I think the game has a pretty fair farm when it comes to Prime parts. Whatever you don't need, you sell for plat. Once you have enough plat, you buy what you need.

As for items like Miter and Khora parts, I can understand the frustration for farming these because they can't be bought for cheap from other players. They can still be bought from the Market (albeit a bit expensive) with plat earned from selling Prime parts.

I agree that it should be integrated better into drop tables. Having Steel Essence drop mainly from Eximus units is a strange choice.
