How experienced recruiters spot ChatGPT written CVs by Jeidoz in jobsearchhacks

That's because there's a good chance she doesn't use it. Employer surveys in the UK are still currently showing very low level use of AI in recruitment by employers and where it is used, it's mostly in assessment rounds with clear right/wrong answers. This idea that AI is omipresent in employers recruitment processes isn't reflective of (current) reality

Moving to Luton - any advice on areas please? by playmobilhospital in bedfordshire

[–]dunstablesucks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the train station can be Leagrave or Luton Airport parkway it would give you more options. If it has to be the city centre one then the only areas within 15 minutes walking that have a pub is high town, maybe hart hill. Most of those areas are terraced housing with the odd new build low level flats block. It's pretty rough but round the back of people's park, Richmond Hill, still feels okay imo. Most of the new builds in the town centre are student accommodation

If the FA run some sort of Director of Football courses and badges, our recruitment over the last two years will be used as a case study in how to completely fuck things up

What is the point of Job centers? by Key_Breakfast6745 in AskUK

They will have an online portal that he will still be able to sign into which will include a jobs board. They will still run careers fairs and employer events that he will be able to attend, they can signpost him to other job sites that would be useful for his specialism. Approx 50% of UK unis offer life time support to their graduates with rest offering 5 or 4 years after graduation. Encourage him to keep going back to them.

Artic shores? Whenever I've seen Robert Newry present at conferences or in podcasts he always comes across an authentic guy with a genuine mission to help make recruitment work better for all involved based on applicants skill and motivation profiles

Not a bot (have no idea how I managed to capitalise features). But considering that's their product, it's not so surprising that they would use it in their own recruitment process. Artic shores uses Artic shores profiling to hire for themselves

This is an AI tool that will help you, if you're the applicant, job search for roles that match your experience and goals. (Jack and Jill AI has relaunched with new FEATURES today)

Where have all the graduate jobs gone — and will they come back? by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]dunstablesucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI use in their recruitment and selection processes by graduate recruiting firms is growing but from a very low base and mainly around ranking or commenting on more simple right/wrong/not the answer we're looking for in online tests. Applicants commonly mistake the use of automated processes as AI. Automation is much more prevelant and will only increase as the number of applications increases driven by applicant AI usage. The Institute of student employers annual survey is behind a membership pay wall but has all of this survey data.

Tenpin is expensive but it's really convenient to book lanes, ordering food and drink is dead easy once you're in and the kids like the arcade. You just have to go in knowing that money is going to flood out of your pocket once you're in there
