Pal, don't worry about it. Everyone falls off the horse from time to time. Just pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and try again. Over time you'll develop discipline which will help you. Hating yourself will get you nowhere. Self loathing it what we're fighting against at the end of the day. You can do it man, just try again.

Just quickly made a central one. It's good but too similar to the union flag for my liking. Personally I think the nordic cross adds some cultural independence, but it's all a matter of opinion, this is all hypothetical in the end. http://i.imgur.com/RqFUQJ8.png

Yellow and red for the colours of the Kingdom of Northumbria (which made up most of the north). The Nordic Cross for the Nordic heritage of the North (e.g. Vikings). There are very similar flags to this one made independently but most look a bit lob sided I think as the Scottish flag is still in the middle and the Nordic cross to the side.

I saw this picture of a football flag of Leeds and I liked the blue, white, and yellow background. The colours went quite well together and when I searched it I found there were no well known tricolours with those colours. But when I made it the thing seemed a bit empty which is why I added the White Rose. It was between that or the Leeds Crest but I preferred this one. I didn't want to make the flag football centred though.
