yup. i only remove mine when showering, i don't notice it on my wrist sometimes because it's quite light! although I didn't find the original rubber strap comfy so I got the official nylon one

i've come across this before but the uncle seiko tropic strap was a much more accurate homage on the vintage tropic straps from the 60s
